I am the face in the crowd,
that you walk right past,
and don't give a second thought.

I am the person you do not see,
unless you're looking for me,
because I am not like everyone else.

I am the the person,
who when mentioned,
you ask, 'Who?'

I am the eyes watching,
as everyone else passes by,
and you don't give me a second thought.

Will you remember me,
when I'm not there?
Or will the memories of me fade,
like I did into the crowd?

Heylo.
Good job with the poem.
It was short and sweet and it was delicious to lap up.

There was, however, a small mistake.

I am the person you do not see,
unless your looking for me,
because I am not like everyone else.

I think you meant 'you're', right? :)

Well, that's about it. I really enjoyed reading this.
Keep writing!

Hey there, Kings!

This was a nice poem; I liked it a lot. It had a nice theme that I'm sure we can all relate to sometime or another in our lives (maybe not!). It was well written and the only mistake I noticed was the one rubberduck pointed out--your is you're. Other than that, great job and keep it up.

This is a nice little poem. Not very deep, but it touches on some larger themes.

In the second verse, I have a question: wouldn't the one unlike everyone else stick out like a sore thumb and threfore be highly visible/remembered? Maybe its just me, but that seems backwards.

I'm afraid I don't have much to say about this. If you really wanted to rework it, add some more imagery, and tell us about this person. Why are they different? What makes people forget them?

Though your name seems to betray this piece (should this be a bio-poem) I really like this it feels like a character model from a compelling story.
I like that the person portrayed in this piece is completely aware and hopefully content with the way people view him (or not so much) in this.
Great work and keep it up!

Hey kingolions!

I really enjoyed this poem. May I just say, great work! It was nice and short and perfect length. Now, I don't usually like poems with stanzas with less than four lines but it works with this one. You substitute the shortness of the stanzas with the longness of the lines. I liked the message that you were saying in this-it is so true! Continue the good work, I know you'll go far!

Hi King,

Wow! Another great piece! You should get all your poems published into a book! Seriously. This was so simple and short and wasn't complicated to read. I thought the meaning in this was so true. It was something that not only I could relate to, but I'm sure a lot of other people too.

It had deep emotions and a hint of sadness to it. It also wasn't too depressing like some other ones I've read.

Really good work! Best wishes!
