For a second I click away the media
I can breathe while snapping shut X’s
And as I tick past windows I can’t help
But wonder what I’m really worth

Escaped dreams are on Cresco Microsoft Word
Documents just like archives
Deteriorating, unclear and enmeshed in reality
So I quest love by gray boxes with finger-set power
Shifting souls across my screen
I’ve become a real estate agent (a hustler)
“space” claims and planting seeds of doubt
Our ardent courage all falsified in type

Here is the flicker across the worldwide screen
Here is where names and souls count for nothing
And in this abysmal chaos
I see that neither do I

I'm Back
Carpe Diem.

Oddly enough this sounds like me, and it's really, really creepy.

But true, I'm sure.

"Shifting souls across my screen."

Welcome to heavenandhell.com!
To sort your souls just click and drag the profile to the cloud or the flame folder and we'll get back to you shortly.

I'm sorry, that's how I pictured it now, I'm under distress again...

But don't let that fool you, it was really something to think about

"Escaped dreams are on Cresco Microsoft Word"
What's Cresco? Or is it a joke or something? Sounds greasy, like crisco. (Yuck, greasy word documents!)

quite interesting, and I like the way you've typified 21st century 'technology'. However what is a Cresco?
Only other thing, the whole poem is written as if "I" am saying it, then at the end of stanza two it switches to "Our". That's ok but just goes hard on the flow, imo... :D

Oh no, I’m sorry, you’re under the impression that here on YWS we *help* writers instead of just feeding their gremlin tendencies.
