It's about this girl named Isabel "Izzy" Rivera, she lives in a small town named Willow Hollow. She likes to sing and play guitar. Everything is flat until she meets this guy named Jess Hannaford. At first she hates him then after a while she falls in love with him. The book is about Izzy and Jess's relationship and there is a couple side stoires to it. I'm typing it onto my computer now and at the same time editing it.
I don't have any suggestions, just some questions that you should know the answer to and make sure the readers know the answer to as well:
1) Why does life seem 'flat' to her?
2) What does this guy to do make her dislike him?
3) What does he do to make her life him? And what does she do to make him like her?
4) Is this the cliche 'jerk picks on girl, girl hates jerk and stands up to him, jerk falls for girl and drives her nuts until she sees his charm' plot? If so, I'd quickly change my mind.
5) Is there any other conflict besides them not liking each other? Is that conflict cliche?
6) How is your story different from other romance stories?
That's all I can think of. Oh! Right. Also, remember to make the characters real and, since this is a romance, to make sure readers always know how the characters are feeling at all times as well as their motivations. Good luck!

Here are the answers:
1. Life is flat to Izzy beacuse she lives in a small, uneventful town and she completly hates it. She wants to live in NYC.
2. Jess annoys her to her wits end, but then they start liking each other.
3. With the help of her best friend Maci, she ends up with him randomly. she doesn't do anything to make him like her it. Their attraction is natrual.
4. Yeah you can say that, but there is a different ending to this love story
5. There are other conflicts.
Her dad dies recently
Her mom dates a horrible guy (you'll find out if you read it)
Her friend, Belinda, is mentally going down the drain
Her mom dissaproves of Jess
Izzy and her friends is in a play thats on the verge of disaster
They are all graduating middle school
The other conflicts are not cliche
6. I seriously don't know. I'll get back to you when I figure it out. I just wrote this story without thinking about it. It's loosly based on some things that happened to me.
