Wimbledon 2008: End of the road for Eaton, Murray moves on

Rising tennis star, Chris Eaton, lost to Russia's Dmitry Tursunov this afternoon, 26th June.

The 20-year-old British 13th seed, from Surrey, battled through the first set only to concede the tie-breaker, but failed to regain ground; Tursunov dominated the match in near straight sets 7-6 (7-2) 6-2 6-4.

Elsewhere, the British men's number one, Andy Murray, cruised through his second-round match against Belgium's Xavier Malisse to emerge victorious 6-4 6-2 6-2; the women's top seed, Anne Keothavong, was defeated by former Wimbledon champion Venus Williams 7-5 6-2.
