I'm sharing a room with my little sister now (ugh)...but I get to turn my room downstairs into my own little office! Me! Mine! No one elses! A spot for my writing that nobody else can get into or use!!! That's a cause for celebration I do believe. A trip to Dairy Queen (ooh, I'm cheating on my diet, not so good ) and a good visit with Microsoft Word!
Any ideas of how I should set it up? I'm thinking of doing a starbucks sort of office crossover. You know, since you always see people in starbucks and all the other coffee shops with their laptops. Any ideas are appreciated!
Why do you have to hare with your sister? I'm stuck with my brother because we got another student this year.
*Don't expect to see me around much in the next couple of weeks. School has started again, and it'll be a couple of weeks before I've settled in. If you've asked me for a critique, you will get it, but not for a little while. Sorry*
she's seven and afraid of the dark, so if i sleep up there it helps her get over her fear since she knows that i'm right there if she needs me. It's not a permanent arrangement though. She's soooo excited about it. I don't know how well I'll fit in the bunk bed though. :p
The bird that would soar above the level plain of tradition and prejudice must have strong wings. It is a sad spectacle to see the weaklings bruised, exhausted, fluttering back to earth. — Kate Chopin, The Awakening
