Oh my gosh this is the biggest problem I have! I constantly get these ideas running through my head that I really want to use, but I have no clue how to start! What's a good way to begin a story and really get that "hook"? Any advice would be awesome.

Also, just start! Ideas can't take their full form until you begin writing them down, and oftentimes when they take their own turn, they turn out better than any amount of planning or musing could ever make them! Don't stress about a hook yet--just start writing the story. Start where the story wants to start and write it and finish it. Then, go back and strengthen that hook!
It usually comes when you're not trying to think about it. I mean, sometimes you're less likely to come up with a beginning if you particularly sit in front of your computer thinking about it. Just do something where you don't have to focus that much, and it just might come to you. For example, I'm working on a new story at the moment, and today when I was making breakfast, the starting line just popped into my head. It's fun when that happens, because it also functions as a boost of inspiration.

Just write. Seriously, just do it. Don't sit there and try to find the perfect word or obsess over which metaphor you should use. You can go back and edit later to make it better. The most important thing is to have something on paper. Once you get a couple of pages down, it will get easier and the story will start to write itself.

In the beginning, just let the ideas flow through you, but remember to write them down. As for starting a story.....just write! Yes, I know everyone says that, and it's easier said than done, but it's true! As for the hook, that will probably come to you randomly.
