Okay so I must have missed the lesson in Grade 4 when my teacher was explaining this or otherwise taken a nap through it because I have absolutely no idea whether to use toward or towards.
Are both even grammatically correct? If so when do I use one or the other? I always get so confused and seriously need help!
Yep, both are correct. I've read that "toward" is supposedly "more correct," for lack of a better term, and that's the one I personally use... but really, you can't go wrong either way.
seeing this tag and going "oh what's this? :)" then getting slapped in the face with shady's good grammar is the worst thing that's ever happened to me — SilverNight
