Please note that I do not claim to be a poet. Thank you. I thought this was cute. I did it for my English class

The Tale of the Imp

I’m not your powdered princess dressed in blue
Living with seven dwarf men is a crazy thing to do
I don’t have long lemon locks
Or any use for Pandora’s box
I’m not so sheltered as to befriend a mouse
I’d sooner shoe it out like a louse
I didn’t prick my finger on a spindle
No Prince will ever make my heart kindle
I pushed Jack down the hill
Only because he tried to cop a feel
I would steal the mittens from the silly kittens
And throw them out saying “Good riddance!”
I shoved Humpty-Dumpty and it was great
He tasted better every drop I ate
I threw an acorn at Chicken Little
And had the cat play the world’s smallest fiddle
I told the puppet he was merely a toy
And gave the wolf his clever ploy
I’m sorry I can’t be a beautiful nymph
I am just your average loveable imp
I Want To Hear Your Song...

That's funny! The first line I liked especially.

I've got a question, though. When you said 'shoe it out' did you mean to say 'shoo it out' ?

I liked it a lot, and I'm surprised how well the word 'kitten' worked with 'riddance'. I didn't expect it to work, but it did! From the first line to the last, it was light-hearted and funny. Good job!

Who wants to become a writer? And why? Because it’s the answer to everything. It’s the streaming reason for living. To note, to pin down, to build up, to create, to be astonished at nothing, to cherish the oddities, to let nothing go down the drain, to make something, to make a great flower out of life, even if it’s a cactus.
