Hey, I'm Nikki (a.k.a Darkwingz as you can see). I LOVE to read and write. I write fiction, mostly in the fantasy/sci-fi genre. I'm always trying to improve my writing skill, because I plan to be an author one day, so I thought this would would be my kind of place. I'm really excited to join!
My name is Mizzle, as you have probably noticed. I think I will just call you Nikki, if that is alright with you. I love people who love reading and writing; we have a lot of those people here. It's great to be a part of place where so many people share your interests, and I know you will love it here.
Funny, I have never been good at fantasy or sci-fi, so, kudos to you! Do you have any favorite authors? What about a favorite band? Favorite book? Favorite season? Sun or rain? Sorry for the twenty questions; it's something of a custom here, so we can get to know you.

I write those too! And you'll see me reviewing a lot in those two genres, so I should review something of yours when you post it. I'm excited! You should be excited to join. It's full of amazing people like me. o.0 and Mizz I guess... and you too now perhaps.

But yeah, what are you writing at the moment? A novel? Short story? I'm writing both... a bit hectic. hehe
It's so good to know that you're excited to join, great enthusiasm is a great gift (I think) as an aspiring writer! There is so much to discover and learn from YWS, almost too much! But you'll absolutely love it! If you need any help just ask anyone, we'd be happy to assist you!

Thanks for the welcoms, guys (girls). To answer the most asked question: right now I'm writing more of a novel. But I have a bad habit of starting a story, getting side tracked, and not coming back to it for months. But at this moment in time my story dosen't have a title (I'm teribble with titles) but its a about a group of teens protecting the Earth with some really cool powers. I will have to post the first chapter in a while.
