Prologue: HOW DOES ONE PRONOUNCE MY NAME? That's simple, ladies and gents. Ex-AUNN (like Exxon Mobil) -Ee-Mus! Xunnamius! Yay!

Rawr. Ello there.

Who am I? WHO AM I?

Heh.

I'm just your typical, average, everyday guy with an average... well... everything.

Just kidding.

Wanna know the truth? I'm an unusual (unique) skinny kid who could give two craps `bout what people think of him. You can have your asinine preconceptions, and I’ll have mine.

I don't have a hundred friends, or fifty, but they’re there. They may only be few in number, but I've always believed in the quality of my friendships, rather than the quantity of them. Still, I don’t trust easily, which is why I only really trust one or two of them.

Believe it?

Trouble with big groups is... everyone wants to be “normal,” whatever the hell that is, and they decide to change themselves until they fit that meager classification… and it just disgusts me. Normal? Wtf?

Anyways, first impressions mean everything to me — since I judge anything that exists by its cover — and you'd better hope it's a good impression, cause it kinda sticks for life... but, if I hang around you long enough, my beliefs of you can definitely be changed. Based on this little blurb here, you’ve already developed your own judgment about me, haven’t you? Don’t worry; I'll acknowledge them no problem. You see… it’s cool because... well... to be blunt: I don’t really care too much about what you think. Lol.

At my roots, I’m a being of nigh-pure logic, striving for perfection in everything I do (I know, perfection is based on the judgment of others, so why strive for “perfection” in the eyes of others if you don’t care what others think of you? Good question. I strive for my own perfection, in my own eyes. Screw everyone else.)

There’s just one rule in my life: Never. Be. Bored. If I become bored, the situation needs to be reconciled immediately or I will go crazy... and people will die.

/rant

Anyways, my internet name is Xunnamius. Custom made and totally unique. I know right?! It came from the group name "Anonymous" with a few letters switched around or swapped out (plus X).

I LOVE anime. I am NOT Otaku. Gawd no... ok, after some thought and consideration... it might be a slight possibility.

I'm a ranking practitioner of Northern Shaolin Sever-Star Praying Mantis KungFu. Hi-ya :P

*TECHNICAL ALERT. AVERT YE EYES*

I am a hard core programmer at heart. I just finished teaching myself Asynchronous Java and XML (aka Ajax) to give my future web pages that non-reloading googlemaps-like jump start! I'm also up to date on xHTML 1.0 Strict (anything less is sloppy in my eyes), CSS, SQL, Java, XML, Javascript, and a few others. My goals are the big C++(#), JSP and Servlets, Perl, Ruby (on rails, weeee!), LUA (for my PSP), and a few others. I also enjoy art (sometimes drawing... I need to refine those skills though ) and using my knowledge of Adobe Actionscript 3.0 to design flash games with my friends.

Almost got expelled from CPS (Chicago Public Schools) for hacking >.<
The fools.

*IT'S OVER NOW. IT'S OK!*

Anyhow lol. I'm a Hardcore Gamer. Xunnamius. Right now I'm in Rumble Fighter and Lost Saga :P

Love almost all kinds of music. I'm a pretty indifferent guy. I'm listening to D-technoLife by UVERworld right now, as a matter of fact, with In The Shadows by The Rasmus and Numb/Encore remix by Jay-Z and Linkin' Park up next :P

PS3 owns all.

I love writing. Why else would I be here?!

I'm kinda shy I guess. I don't like meeting new people, because they're usually boring (which goes against rule #1), but that doesn't mean everyone I meet is boring! Still, I love going outside when I feel like it (I don't stay cooped up in my house all day!) Just bought a whole truckload of un-not-il-legal fireworks bound for Chicago for the 4th! Er... nevermind. You didn't read that from me. 8)

I've read more books than you!

That's about all I can think of at 3:14am. Lol. I'm liking this place already!

Now that I look at it... that was kinda long... wasn't it <.<

Wow, where to start...

I think I like you, not, as you've stated, that you care one way or the other.
Your ranting has just brought up several things that I have issues with. I don’t believe in normal, or perfect, as both depend on an individual’s perception of them.
As for the boring thing...my whole life is boring.
I very much doubt that you have read more books than me, as I was reading even before I started grade school.
You have not said what kind of writing you do, nor what you like to read; so I ask you, what do you write about and what do you read?

Hey Xun,

I hope you don't mind I shortened your name. I simply am no good at remembering long names or any names for that matter.
I like the way you posted your introduction but somehow it makes it hard to believe you are shy.

I think it is awesome that you do so much programming. I am a little into JAVA but I am not at any notable level.

Uh... I don't know what else to say

It's not that I "don't care" about anything lol. I enjoy new and interesting friends 8)
I've also been reading since before elementary school as well. And if I wasn't reading, I was getting read to lol.

And as for you being "boring," I very much doubt that, sir, since, judging from your reply, you seem to be a very interesting person :P

What kind of writing do I do? Hmm. Depends on my mood! It could range from Action/Adventure fiction to Science fiction or some sort of random fantasy.

What do I like to read? That's also a hard one, since I'm all over the place. Lets just say: anything that isn't boring

I love my rants

---------

Hi Aina! Most of my friends call me "Xun" and "Xunn" or "Xunna" when I'm online and I love it :P
Thanks for your reply, and good luck with your Java (oh it's fun)!

I am not a sir but rather a madam (spoken with an overly pronounced French accent) and thank you, you're too kind. (again spoken with an overly pronounced French accent)

Okay, so what are some of your favorite books?

Rants are indeed fun.

New question: What is your favorite type of character to use?

I know you don't care, but I like you. I too believe that "normal" is stupid, it's boring realy. I don't think anyone has read more than I have. I think the whole hacking thing is very, very cool. Ranting is fun, especially if you have nothing better to do.

I'm going to call you out. Everyone cares what other people think of them; on some subtle level. It may be easier to blow people off on the internet because hey, I could be a nine-hundred pound horndog who has a cyst. But if you met you're favorite actress (or the guy who designed that game that you love; or the anime you watch everyday) you'd probably care.
And you may have read more books than me but haven't read more pages.(Kind of a dangerous thing to say on a writing website; since most writers are readers and we all want to feel special.)
And I find boredom to be connected with normality. The masses are bored. The norms are bored. The people who represent something close to what most humans consider perfection are dying of boredom. Us storytellers aren't.
And your own brand of perfection? I know that feeling. I live by that feeling. People tell me things like "God Meagan, you're so pretentious. Who are you trying to impress?" My anti-social narcissistic self, of course.
I also have few friends and care very little what people think of me (I'm pretty sure half of my school thinks I'm lez; the other half thinks I'm a serial killer.)
Okay, we're on a role here...
Not so huge into the anime; I have a select few that I like. What are your favorites? And please don't say Naruto. (I'm just kidding; Naruto is.... great.)
I have a cousin that is almost exactly like you, with being skinny, and the gaming and hacking and shyness and whatnot. I was almost convinced you were him; but he would have mentioned lucid dreaming among his favorite hobbies.
Okay so.... Respond with your favorite animes (I took a guess at what I think you like based on your writing; lets see if I'm right) and five, three, nine hundred books you read recently and liked.
~Meagan

You're right. The closer someone is to me, or the smarter/higher someone climbs within my personal and humble opinion, the more I respect their opinion on me and my things. I find myself caring a lot (more than you could imagine) about what my reviewers, critiquers, critics, readers, etc. think

And you may have read more books than me but haven't read more pages.

That was mostly a joke... but be careful, ya never know. I devoured the 305 paged Weather Warden Novel "Cape Storm" in 2.5 sittings :P

"Momma! It's like TV in my head!" says my little brother xD

And I find boredom to be connected with normality. The masses are bored. The norms are bored. The people who represent something close to what most humans consider perfection are dying of boredom. Us storytellers aren't.

This is why I love my little fantasy worlds, and the worlds of others here on YWS. They're so fun!

Naruto? Eww. It started out ok (they always do) and then... 2 years of fillers... the narutards... epic failure.

Hmm. Lets see if I can trim my list down to something manageable!
Air Master, Avenger, Basilisk, Blood(+), Blue Dragon was ok, Demonbane, Escaflowne, FLCL, Gantz, Get Backers, Gun x Sword, .Hack//, Higurashi (it got boring), Hunter x Hunter (also got boring), Kaze no Stigma (wooo!), Kiba, Magikano, Nabari no Ou, Queen's Blade, Saint Seiya (old), Trigun, Trinity Blood (best vamp anime around), Vampire Knight, Vampire Knight Guilty, Zeki, xxxHolic, Black Cat, Darker than Black, Kekkaishi, Psychic Academy, Rurouni Kenshin (one of my favorites), Samurai 7, s-CRY-ed, Solty Rei, Soul Eater (another fav), Witch Hunter Robin, Big O (another fav), Zatch Bell (for old times sake), Zombie Loan, DBZ (hey, it was my first anime ever), Matantei Loki Ragnarok, Ergo-Proxy... to name a few.

Full list here >:D

Lucid daydreaming is my forte

and five, three, nine hundred books you read recently and liked.

Hmm. I just finished the 8th Weather Warden Novel: Cape Storm by Rachael Caine (I think Ms. Caine should end the series before it overdoes the whole "Status Quo Is God" thing) and a bunch of her other works.
I'm liking the Furies of Alera, and anything else by Jim Butcher.
Dean Koontz and everything he ever wrote.
David Eddings with his "Will and Word sorcerers", and all his books.
There are many many more I can't think of at the moment, but those are some good ones :P

Hallo Xunn,
It's Empress Meagan on my friends account. I love Dean Koontz; not so big into reading fantasy.
And I read Gone With the Wind (900 pages) in one sitting.... and then got bronchitis the next day. That, my friend, is dedication.
I guessed Avatar... but wow thats a LOT of anime.
I like Cowboy Bebop, Vampire Princess Miu(vampires on crack, made in like '64), Samurai Champloo, and Elven Lied. Still waiting for Godchild to be made into an anime....
My friend is raping me right now so I'll talk to you later.

Not sure if it counts... but the night before I hacked into my school's systems (a sunday), I read over 2000 pages of technical jargin (Hacking for dummies, XML for dummies [all seven chapters], Headfirst Java) with a friend of mine

Watched those, loved 'em! I watched avatar as well.

I'll have to check this out :P
