Yuppp...I'm new...

I got this account a long time ago but only really got around to doing anything with it right now.

So yeah...any questions?

Oh I have a question! Pick me! Pick me! *waves hand high*

Anyways, welcome and all that fun.

Haha, thank you for the welcome!

I'm a little all over the place when I write, I'll admit. I love writing poetry but I'll confess that I'm no good. I love, love the medium of short stories and in reality this is probably my strong suit.

Eventually I'd like to work up enough courage to write scripts, like for plays/movies/TV.

Welcome to the site!

If you have any questions or need help with something feel free to PM. Also, you might want to take a look at the buddy system.

Enjoy the site. :)

I'm big with short stories too, and most of them are in reality. I love reading plays but I finally got around to writing my first. It's actually getting produced by my school's Theater Troupe, how exciting? Heh. What do you enjoy reading?

Having someone perform something I wrote would be truly extraordinary. I'm an actress, myself, so I can't decide what would be more fun: acting it out or writing it down.

I read everything, trashy chick lit to classics. I just read 'Crossing California' by Adam Langer and it was gorgeous.

I read just about everything too, hah, although I've gained a bit of a love for the Russian classics. Who are your favorite classic authors?

Yes, the play I wrote is actually listed on my profile if you were interested, and when ever it gets done (sometime in spring) I'm hopefully going to be recording it and putting it online for everyone of the site to view. It's going to be real exciting for me. Working with a director and actors, it becomes an art of many rather than an art of one, and it will have everyones mark, not just my own. Though, I'm horrible at acting! hah, I've always wanted to act, but I doubt I would be any good at it, so I've never tried it.

I sweat Mark Twain like no other, and Shakespeare is hands down the greatest thing I've ever read.

The day, which was one of the first of spring, cheered even me by the loveliness of its sunshine and the balminess of the air. I felt emotions of gentleness and pleasure, that had long appeared dead, revive within me. Half surprised by the novelty of these sensations, I allowed myself to be borne away by them, and forgetting my solitude and deformity, dared to be happy.
— Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
