I Have A 2mm. Hole In My Heart

I am new to the Young Writers Society. I heard about it through my English teacher who is encouraging us (Creative Writing Club) to get our stuff noticed. So anyways, I'm fourteen, I'm a freshman at A.C. Jones In Beeville, Texas and I basically just want to read others' poetry and get mine read and reviewed (dare I say, criticized) by others as well. So I basically just write poetry. About Life, Love, Religion, Society, etc., and I have to say that my inspiration comes from my music and just anything I see. I like any kind of music but I especially like anything that falls into the genres of: Alternative, Techno, and Rock.

Don't say "criticized." Say "critiqued." Criticism sounds so ... negative, and although reviewers here can be harsh, they aren't usually mean about it ... just, well, let's say "brutally honest."

(It might be a good idea to just say that you're in Texas. It's not usually a good idea to put your school or town name on the internet.)
