*awkward newbie thread*

So my screen name is, obviously, Prince Paradox. I have yet to invent a nickname, so feel free to make suggestions. If you've read The Picture of Dorian Gray, by Oscar Wilde, then you'll know where the name comes from.

Also, I am a girl. Hence the Paradox. Sort of. It's really more of an oxymoron, but Prince Oxymoron doesn't sound near as catchy.

Anyway, my obsessions include Fruits Basket and Final Fantasy VII. My passion is English in general (yes, diagramming included). I like to read fantasy. My favorite authors are Jacqueline Carey and Brandon Sanderson. And though I claim to be a writer, I don't actually write a lot. But I am happy with what little I have written, and am trying to write more.

Lastly, my favorite transitional words are 'also' and 'anyway.'

Score! I've seen these emoticons before. Except that this site doesn't have Gonk. Or 3nod. Ahh! And no Domo-kun. But it does have Mr. Green.

@jenna: Para-chan is okay with me. As for what I like to write, I don't really have a specific genre. I'm working on a romance right now, and I've tried dipping into fantasy. And I have a couple of strange, short nonfiction pieces that need work. But that's about it.
