Hi, everyone!
I'm Elise! It's so very nice to join a website and feel so welcome already! So I guess I should state why I'm here. I've been struggling in my English class with writing essays, so I thought joining an online writing community was a GENIUS idea! I can observe reviews on other people's pieces as well as make my own reviews and who knows, maybe submit a few pieces here and there! I love to write poetry, so you'll probably see a lot of that from me. I also am very musical and artistic. Since I'm also home schooled, I'll probably be in the chat room often Thanks in advance for making me feel so welcome!

This is definitely a great place to pick up tips on writing (I feel your pain; essays are the bane of my existence). The folks are friendly, the reading is plentiful, and when in doubt you can always ask a question.
There's actually a forum specifically for homework help, if you're interested.

Not only that, but we also have a an Art & Photography forum!

How long have you been writing poetry? It's a fine art, but challenging at times, yeah?
