I’m Afraid
I don’t want to appear weak
I don’t want to be judged
I just wish I could just be
Even if it torments me
Memories best left to be forgotten
They surround me at night
I try to forget
I want to
But I can’t
And I become afraid
Afraid that when they do leave
Ill be Alone.

The welcome forum is a place for you to introduce yourself, not a place to post your work. If you would like me to move your poem, I will.

Please make sure you've at least read over the FAQ's so as to acquaint yourself with the way the YWS runs. Thanks. :)

What a piece of work is a man! How noble in reason, how infinite in faculty, in form and moving how express and admirable, in action how like an angel, in apprehension how like a god -- the beauty of the world, the paragon of animals!
— William Shakespeare
