Hey guys :D here's a picture I drew over the weekend. It's a sort of manga/cartoon style thing if you know what I mean. Hope you enjoy! (sorry about the qaulity, the image was too big for my scanner so I used a camera)

Theese next two are illustrations from my book Weird and Yet Wonderful. The style of the images is meant to be how it is and I admit it looks a bit rushed.

This is Charlie one of the main characters:

Fixed the picture size! Yay! :D

Yeah, I couldn't see the pictures :( I couldn't see what the last two were about, but from what I got from the first, it looked really good! (At least better than anything I could draw :P ). It must have taken you AGES to put the detail in! Loved it.

Yeah, I couldn't really see them either :( It was too big and I could only see a portion of it.

But from what I saw it looks good :)

Hi!
Okay, first of all, can you please resize these pictures? From what I can see they look great, but it's hard to critique something when you can only see a portion of it at a time. I would love to see your work as a whole!
However, these pictures are too good to skimp out on a review, so I'll critique these as best as I can. I love the color, vibrancy, and detail of the first picture. The animal/ Pokemon-ish creature you drew in the left corner also looks amazing. Since it's obviously not an actual animal, I have nothing to nitpick about proportions or anything like that. However, your elf(?) and person seem to have a couple sizing issues. Since this is manga/anime style, I understand the over-sized eyes. However, their noses and mouths seem a little low on their faces, the hands appear too tiny, and the necks and arms look skinny. I struggle with proportions when drawing too, so I recommend looking at yourself for reference. Compare the size of your hand to your face, or the width of your neck to your head. Hopefully, that will help. :) As well as proportions, I think you should draw eyebrows on these characters! It would add so much more emotion! Also, have fun experimenting with the flow of hair and clothing. Right now, they look just a little stiff.
Moving on, the second picture is interesting. Since it's a quick sketch, I won't get into coloring and shading and all that. I like the hair in this one, but again with the proportions! :) Watch out for skinny arms and low mouths!
As for the last one...YAY EYEBROWS!!! :D I really like this character's facial expression, and the proportions of the arms look much more balanced here. Kudos!
Overall, keep up the good work and keep drawing. I hope you take my critique into consideration the next time you pick up a pencil and paper!

First off, you seem to have an image-resizing problem.
You can visit this link to help you, topic86700.html
or you can go to http://www.picnik.com and resize your images to what is not more than 500 x 500

Now back to your drawings:

#First drawing: I like how you coloured that drawing neatly. The drawing looks beautiful yet very simple.

#Second drawing: Let me guess you drew that in ball point pen? Personally, I don't think it was a good idea to use pen for it looks a bit messy (unless you intend to make it appear like that) I am also bothered by those curls above her hair. The arms are too thin. Still the girl looks cute and the font is lovely.

#Third drawing: Despite the fact that the proportions don't look quite right, but I like the girl's anxious - looking face. One thing I don't like is her left arm, and you should show her hands.

Seems you're a fan of Anime. It looks quite tough when you draw them but you came up with good drawing but you have to keep practicing = )

Hey Leopard, I'm a big fan of manga/anime drawings so I had to comment here x) Btw I recognize your avatar... I <3 Chobits :)

I love the color in the first pic. Everything looks just like it came out of some fairytale, and I like that. You colored everything so smoothly, I can see that the pencil lines all go in one direction, which is awesome. It shows you actually put effort into the coloring, and didn't just scribble it in. The only critique that I have is just that the proportions seem way off, like the hands are super tiny and the eyes, even for manga-style, are humongous. Also, if you look at their feet, they aren't quite touching the ground and seem like they're floating in air x)

Next pics, nothing wrong with being rushed, I do sketches all the time!

I assume Charlie is a girl, because that is very girly hair. Unless he has a wig on, but that is impossible to tell. I'm not sure what the mask is for, or what the squigglies in the hair are supposed to be. Apart from that, it's a good pic :) I just can't really tell what's going on.

The first thing that stood out to me about Claudia was her eyes + eyebrows. You used very squiggly lines to draw them with, when they should've been more curved, or even straight. I would look at a reference, (any anime/manga would do :) ) and try to copy how they drew eyes just to get the feel of it yourself. Besides that, I love this pic. She looks really cute with her hair in pigtails and I love the outfit!

I started drawing manga/anime about a year ago when I came across Mark Crilley's youtube channel, which had a ton of awesome drawing tutorials on it. If you are interested in drawing more in manga style, go check him out! It helped me so much ^_^
