“Well, aren’t you a prince or something? You could assign a guard or two to make sure I get back safely.”

"The guards will recognize you and you'll be put back in the dungeon"

“…That’s true. Ah, what do I do, think, think…”

Janus paced the room.

"Well, before we do anything, you need to eat something."

“Eat what..? How do I even get food without getting caught?”

Remus opened his closet, and there was a bunch of snacks and a mini fridge in there.

“…Oh. Well, that’s convenient.”

Janus walked over and looked at the options.

Remus went over and flopped onto his bed. Wondering how long Janus had been in the dungeon.

Janus picked out some things. Not a lot, of course. And his bites were rather small.

Remus went over and picked Janus up, then put him on the bed with the things he picked out.

Janus blushed and squeaked in surprise. He couldn’t help leaning against Remus, as he hadn’t felt the touch of another human in almost a year.

So Remus decided to just be all affectionate with Janus to see what would happen.

Janus melted, mumbling something incoherent. He nuzzled into Remus’s chest, simply relaxing for the first time in a while.

Remus was playing with janus' hair , kinda just cuddling him, complimenting him, blah blah blah lovey dovey stuff.

Janus smiled. He felt that he could die happy here. All this affection was definitely getting to him. He held onto Remus, starting to fall asleep.
