Name: Pyrope Pyralspite-Almandine (her first name is pronounced Pier-opay and she gave herself the second last name to better preserve the legacy of both families)

Appearance: Pyrope looks just like many of the Almandine side of her family. She has fair skin that's a bit on the tanner side, bright golden ginger hair cut into a kind of shaggy wolfcut that she cut herself which falls just past her shoulders, and eyes that have a habit of looking more orangish or brown sometimes, more deep reddish others, or even like wine purpleish depending on how you look at them. All of those traits, including her eye color came from that side of the family.
She's rather tall, standing at 5'11" despite how much she likes to say she's 6', and has an athletic warrioresque build from her extensive and rigorous training, fighting, and farmwork where she used to pick up jobs every now and then.
Other then that, she always has some sort of minor injury either from training too hard, roughhousing, or getting in a scrap by backing someone up in a fight but typically they're only things like bruises and little cuts and never anything serious so she just shrugs them off, saying they make her stronger.
Her clothes typically consist of bright and warm colors but are always made to be functional. she can't stand most dresses for that fact and would rather have pants, a tunic, and a good pair of boots any day.
Thematic: Gold, the sun, fire, and embers. Other emberlike colors contribute to her thematic as well and because of her aura she ensures to include red accents. Basically bright and shining like firelight or bright sunlight.
Aura Color: Her aura is similar to the appearance of glowing embers, always shifting around from glowing oranges and golds just like most of her family's auras. However, hers is the first to constantly show flickers of red that had nothing to do with her emotions.

Fighting Style: She has an aggressive fighting style into which she throws all of her strength and skill to deliver the most fast and powerful blows possible. She doesn't mind hand to hand combat and in most cases prefers it over other kinds since she likes to get right in the mix of things.
Armor: Probably somewhere between heavy and medium armor so something that is strong enough to take a few hard hits but also something she can move effectively in. However, she is used to taking the hits, not expertly dodging them and so she really only wants the movement to allow her to get fast and hard hits in. oh and she would want a visor on her helmet because it makes her look Cool TM
Magic Attunement: Burn
Weapon Preference: A sword, particularly one that she can wield with one hand while still delivering a powerful blow so that she can use a shield as well.


Personality: Pyrope can have quite a sunny and bright demeanor when she wants to, happily getting along with others. She's always the kind of person to give people second chances and another attempt at being friends if they did start off rocky. She never truly hates anyone and is rare to anger but will display disappointment as her form of being upset with someone. On her own, she is incredibly independent and while she offers her assistance to others, doesn't really know how to accept help herself because of how she grew up and her independent nature. Around others though, she's very supportive of everyone around her and will absolutely cheer you on with whatever you're doing if she can't outright help.
That being said, she will also back up people whenever they need it and find a way to stop conflict, even if it outright endangers herself. That being said, on the battlefield she if the same way and will do anything to protect those close to her, often being the one to willingly go out on the front lines and face any danger hand to hand. While she so often does this, it's not because she is fool hardy and thinks she's immortal, no she perfectly understands the risks and is willing to take them because none of them scare her, not even death since either she'll win the fight and have glory to show her family or it won't be her problem anymore and she'll have glory even in death.
In a way, she's always trying to fight for a way to earn her place and at least a scrap of recognition because of how she grew up which leads to her constant seeking of glory. She really just want to prove that she's not just from spark for a new feud and will do everything she can to become a darksbane and prove her worth both to herself and her family. However, because of this want for honor, recognition, and glory, it leads her to be a very honorable fighter and gives her an extreme aversion to using any moves that could be considered dirty or unfair to her opponent.
The strangest part about her though is when she gets in her glory seeking moods. When this happens her happy and warm personality becomes one of flames and burning determination that helps her accomplish just about anything she sets her mind to. She becomes very serious and often doesn't listen much to others. All she is focused on is the task at hand and whatever challenge is before her.
Personal Strengths: Her determination in battle leads her to be a strong warrior that won't back down. Instead, she'll see the fight through to the very end, honorably. Her aversion to conflict among her teammates and friendly demeanor that is not easy to anger is a strength of hers as well as her supportiveness.
Personal Weaknesses: When she gets into her glory seeking mindset, she is only focused on the challenge and often doesn't listen to other people. In addition to this, she has a tendancy to simply accept all the risks of the challenge no matter how dangerous as long as the risks only affect herself. Her lack of accepting help could also be considered a weakness but usually she does so out habit and not actual choice. In battle with her fighting style, she's not often to dodge a lot and especially not if being hit by an attack can set her up for a stronger attack of her own.

Backstory: From the family drama that can be found below that has ripped two parts of her history apart since her great grandmother lived, Pyrope has always been the black sheep rejected by both sides since she looks like an Almandine while being on the wrong side of the fued. She was always treated as something defiled or terrible by both sides, even her own parents.
This led her to become very independent at even a young age and be able to look out for herself as she grew up in her Arturian home city. She was very distant with her parents but very close to her younger sisters who she tried to reverse the hateful teaching that seemed to seep down the family line with. She herself never hated her parents or anyone really; their aversion to her just left her sorrowful. Her sisters managed to follow in her footsteps as Pyrope taught them to love and not hate but to be careful about showing it so that they would not be scorned themselves.
She did everything she could to help her sisters and protect them, standing up to anyone who dared to try and hurt them since most of her own family hated her already and she was sure they couldn't hate her any more. However, once she became old enough to get curious as to why her family hated her, she dug into their history and found both the fued and the darksbane legacy both sides of her family once carried.
That's when she got the idea. The idea that would set her entire future into motion. For many years from then on, she took her youth and earlier teenage years to train as hard as she could, even getting into fights sometimes to protect the weak and to test her own strength. If she lost, that just meant she needed to train harder. Many hours she spent digging through records and finding contacts until she found a mentor to teach her sword fighting enough to allow her to get into a minor academy.
When she finally got an acceptance letter to Feren academy, she packed her things and left in the dead of night, when no one could stop her or knew where she was going. She left no letter and no way for anyone from home to track her and went to the academy as swiftly as she could. There, she farther honed her skills and knowledge before attempting to get into a major academy, particularly Lux, using the history of her families as proof that she could make it through the rigorous training that it took to become a darksbane. She had made it this far already and no matter what, she would not back down to the challenge.
After what felt like eternity, she, by some miracle, managed to get into Lux academy and now is determined to come out on top and become a darksbane. Whatever it takes.
Connections to Lux Academy: There have been Darksbanes in both major sides of her family in the far past but none as of recent. However, Pyrope is determined to restore not only her glory but that of both families by becoming one herself.
Personal Goal: To restore a sense of worth and glory to herself and prove to her family that she is something more then just a reminder of the fued between their two sides. Right now she sees herself as something scorned and repulsed by both sides of the family and strives to make herself as gloriful and deserving as she can of their love and attention.
Personal Secret: When she left home to begin her studies on her own and go to the academies, she left in the middle of the night without saying goodbye to anyone to avoid causing turmoil. However, she knows for certain that her two sisters, the only ones in the family who truly loved and adored her, were probably devistated to discover she had left without a word and so Pyrope still feels bad about that to this day. However, to make up for it, she keeps a diary with entries written to her sisters with a message on the first page to deliver it to them should anything happen to her.
Personal Fear: There's only one thing that truly scares her and that is giving anyone a reason to think that she should be rejected as impure just as her family sees her. Well, that and not succeeding at the glory she pushes herself constantly towards.

THE FAMILY DRAMA
Pyrope is the eldest daughter to the Pyralspite family. However, her looks have made their way down the line from the Almandine family line despite her more direct and stronger line of traits from the other side of the family. It started long ago with her great grandmother who was also named Pyrope, married into the Almandine family. However, there was a falling out between these two families even before their marriage that dated back to when there were common darksbanes in the families when two of said darksbanes were working together and who actually took the honor of destroying the younger elderbeast was never resolved as no one knows who actually served the killing blow and so a deep resentment still resides between them with no darksbanes in the family since. The great grandmother Pyrope stayed married with her husband despite the fallout but the distanced themselves from the Almandine side as much as possible. But such deep seated hatred is not often forgotten. Later on they had a daughter who married into the Phyralspite family and carried the resentment with her family fro the Almandine side. Fast forward to the most recent family and they were just about to cut ties with the Almandine family for good when their daughter was born and looked just like one of the Almandines. However, the Almandines would not take her due to her "tainted" bloodline from liars and thiefs of honor and her own family did not want her for the same reason. They begrudgingly took care of her until she was capable of doing things herself and then all of their help disappeared from their daughters life and they focused on their new children that were not a reminder of tainted blood and corrupted pasts.
