Name: Sodalite "Dali" Soleanos

Appearance: Dali is on the taller side of his family, standing at a fair 5'10", however his boots often add a few inches to his height. He, like the men in his family, posess a fair amount of muscle due to the Soleanos' being a lineage of hunters, however he is not as bulky as his father.

His hair is naturally black, but has plenty of blonde highlights streaked throughout. It falls just down enough to cover his neck, and he normally wears it half-up half-down. Dali's skin is a dusty, tan-ish band color, mostly due to the sheer amount of time he spends outdoors. His eyes are black, and he has a noticable line scar down the right side of his face.

Normally, he wears tall black boots with plenty of silver buckles, tan pants, a white long-sleeved dress shirt, a dark blue-ish purple vest and a black trench coat with a faded yellow lining, both on the seams and on the inside.
Thematic: An eclipse of the sun, dark skies with sunlight just nearby, two-sided, both equally warm and cold.
Aura Color: Dark purple-blue and pale orange-yellow flames, ebbing and flowing.

Fighting Style: Thoughtful, precise long-ranged attacks, using his Attunement to swiftly reposition. He tries to keep distance, however he's not opposed to getting close ranged shots in, despite the mess.
Armor: Light, high coverage armor. Preferably easy to move in so he can get better vantage points. Possibly with a holster(?) for his rifle and various pockets.
Magic Attunement: Burn
Weapon Preference: Long-ranged weapons that reuqire prescion, like guns (specifically rifles and snipers) or bows.


Personality: Dali is quiet and reserved, a habit he's developed from hunting, as to not scare off the hunt. He tends to actively fade into the background, and gets flustered easily by being put in the spotlight, or when someone talks with him unprompted. He picks up on things easily and is a fast learner, as, in his father's words: "Adaptability is key to obtaining a successful hunt." At times, he can be cunning and scheming, which is yet another thing he's learned from his father. Planning and knowledge is a large portion of hunts within his family.
Personal Strengths: Despite his awkwardness around people, he observes most everything about others around him. His father has taught him most things he knows about hunting and fighting, with planning being a huge part of that. He is fast thinking, and can map out future positions easily given a good enough vantage point.
Personal Weaknesses: He often goes off on his own, and tries to convince himself that he doesn't need help, and is VERY stubborn to recive help. He prefers to get to places on his own, and relies on solitude too often. Although he hunts in a group, he is normally alone anyways, staying back and aiming at the hunt from afar as opposed to going in up close and personal.

Backstory: Dali was born into the Soleanos, a lineage of Elderbeast hunters, and started hunting at just 9. He grew up as the middle child of 5, with two older brothers, and a younger brother and sister. His father taught him to use a gun at 7, and naturally grew into sharpshooting. In his family, he was considered a "child prodigy" for his affinity for sharpshooting, fostering resent within his two brothers, Bismuth and Tourmaline (Smith and Alin), who only got to join hunts at around 15. When he was 9, they would lock him in the closet, and he would yell out, which only had them barricade the door, which also catalyzed his quietness. Hunts, to his family, are where all the men in the family get together to hunt Elderbeasts, even going so far as to put the heads or animal appendages of the beasts on display as trophies. He came to Lux after a long talk with his father debating on if he should fight for the benifit of the land, in which Dali had wanted to stay with his father. In the end, he succumbed to his fathers wishes, and went to Lux.

Personal Goal: Protect the ones dear to him, and also get some cool trophies. Become a Darksbane. (Not in this order)
Personal Secret: There is a part of him that feels bad for the Elderbeasts he hunts, and that part finds them a tiny bit cute, in the way that things like. hairless cats, are cute. Deep down, he believes that Elderbeasts have at least a small bit of sentience and feeling within themselves.
Personal Fear: Dali has a deep rooted fear of small spaces due to his brothers, and also a fear of public speaking. Also, dying prematurely.
Other: it's pronounced like. dally. like dilly dally. or day-lee, or dah-li as in dahlia. he doesn't mind any of them, though he prefers dally or dah-li over day-lee
