Gender: Male, he/him.
Abilities: Mostly human, one eighth dai. The dai are a race that can shapeshift on a regular basis, but Lode can only shift once a day thanks to how small the dai part of his heritage is. For the most part, Lode's just a regular old human.

Appearance: Lode looks the picture up above. He keeps his maroon hair in a messy ponytail, but he notably keeps some of his hair down to frame his face. His eyes are gray, and the left one has a scar over it. It's the kind of scar that didn't go deep enough to damage his eye, but did leave a cool looking mark around it and on his eyelid.

Save for the scar, Lode doesn't look that intimidating. Maybe it's partially because of his personality, but he actually comes across as pretty easy to handle - he's just below average height for someone his age, and doesn't really have any noticeable muscles.

Personality: Lode is the kind of guy who can switch between two different personalities in an instant. Most of the time, he's not threatening - he's actually a little more on the childish, mischievous side. Some of this is genuine, but he usually plays it up a bit.

When threatened, however, another side of Lode comes out - a much more confident, sometimes/somewhat sadistic side. Lode may not have the physical strength to defend himself, but he does have the intelligence to.

And he won't let you forget it.
- Strengths Intelligent, great at scheming, incredibly friendly, entertaining, very loyal, and a strong moral code.
- Weaknesses Sometimes sadistic, being too loyal, being a little emotionally unaware/too childish, and holds grudges.

Brief Backstory: Lode doesn't talk a lot about himself or what led him to get thrown in prison, but the guards there do tend to gossip. As the story goes, he slipped into the Intergalactic Guard's headquarters with the intent to change their files on him.

(He also had some homemade space drugs on him at the time, and it was pretty obvious that he was planning on setting up some kind of intergalactic drug ring.)

Other: Lode's personality is heavily inspired by Hanako in Toilet-Bound/Jibaku Shounen Hanako-Kun. It's not a perfect match, but I wanted to writing a character like him.
