Appearance: She's got long, wavy golden hair that she is very vain of. When she's working, she tends to keep it tied up and away from her face so it doesn't get damaged. She has hazel eyes, a trait that she shares with her brother Jake.
Most of the time Macy prefers a jeans, sneakers, t-shirt type look for comfort's sake.
Personality: She has got a major Hero complex. She has to save everyone and it tears her up inside whenever she can't. She has a journal she keeps with her where she writes down all the names of people she couldn't save along with facts about them to remind herself that they were people, not just names, not just numbers.
Up for Romance: Sure, she's bi.
Backstory: Macy was born to a mother who died very quickly after her death. Jake's father took her in but there was always an undercurrent of tension due to the fact that Macy is not his child. She grew up with Jake and missed him whenever he went on his father/son bonding trips that would last for days, sometimes even weeks on end. She always expected that someday she would go along with them, but that day never came.
And then one day, only her brother came back. He had her throw some clothes and a few treasured trinkets into a duffel bag and they hightailed it out of there. It wasn't until they were gone that Jack told Macy that they weren't going fishing on their bonding trips, but rather ghost hunting and that a ghost had killed his father. Macy had thought he was kidding and demanded he tell her the real story.
She didn't believe Jake for a long time and kept getting into arguments with him and calling him crazy until one day while Jake was out, she stumbled right into the ghost he was hunting. She doesn't remember much from the encounter, just a white light and Jake calling her name. They have been ghost hunting together ever since.
