Hello! My name is J.L. Stephens. I am a 15 year-old girl, going into her senior year of high-school, with the hopes of becoming an doctor by 22.
I am typically a friendly person, have a sarcastic sense of humor (and a little bit of other types as well), and LOVE to read and write. (Would've never guessed, would you?)
As an author, however, I do have a major downfall: I very often will start a novel and then stop in the middle, and not finish it. If you read one of my stories, and notice this occurrence, feel free to e-mail me and remind me of the story. XD
On the topic of commenting, I would like to mention that I do not mind harsh reviews. I do not have soft feelings so please lash at me all you'd like!
I tend to write fantasy and fiction, with more of a fantasy lean. While I write mostly novels, I also write a few short stories and poems. I will warn you now, though, that I am a horrible poet!
I also tend to label my writing as teen-apropriate ... This is because there is slight romance and mild cursing in a few of my stories. Also, being a teen myself, I tend to lean toward similarly aged characters.
And finally: You may realize that I will always sign off as "Sylvia." This is because this is my pen-name. (It is also the name of my main character in my novel, Myrchase.)
Anyway... that is a bit about me. I look forward to meeting you, and reading your stories.
