I can't write anything, unless there's music playing. I've also tried listening to songs that match the mood of what I'm writing, works wonders! :D

Same way I choose my character names; take an ordinary word or name, and play around with it. (Bear turned into Byeran, for example).

I take an ordinary word, or an existing name, and twist it around. :D

I think a chapter should only be as long as it needs to be. :) Not devilishly looooooooooooooooooong, and not one-scene-short. :)
