"Uh, sure, if you want that." He says

He slips his hand over his, watching her reaction

He smiles, thinking. "I have no idea."

Jace wonders what she's thinking as she looks down. He hopes he didn't scare her off. He smiles though, remembering what she said. "So...what does this mean?"

He smiles back. "Uh, I kind of like you." He says.

Jace scolds himself in the head. Why was he acting so rash? "Sorry." He blushes, looking down. But wow

Should he make a move? He decides so and cups her chin, pulling her into a kiss.

Jace blushes again. Cool eyes. He didn't get that compliment very often. "Thank you." He says, glancing at her in the corner of his eyes.

Jace shrugs. "That happens in everyday life too." He says, catching a strange glint in her eyes. He looks away and smiles, blushing a little. Did he like her? He ...

Obstacles. Jace thinks over this word as he sips on his own drink, used to the sandpaper-like burning sensation that it sent his throat. "A game...I like that."

Jace laughs with her, feeling almost like himself again. "You're pretty funny, you know." He says. "I mean, the way you look at life."

"So, how long are you going to keep your brother like that?"
