"I've had four girlfriends." Nic says. "Jace has had two but he didn't realize he was dating the first one."

Jace smiles and shakes his head at himself.

"I don't like trees." Jace says.

Nic laughs, looking at Jace. "Don't piss Rayah off, buddy."

"We want to know." Nic says, speaking of he and Jace. "We don't want to be on the receiving end to a family trait."

Jace smiles with Rayah, taking another drink.

Upz: Somewhere I stop in my tracks, hearing someone else call out. That voice sounds closer. "Hello!" I call back, heading where I think I heard it from. "Where are ...

Jace shrugs, finishing his drink. "I don't care." Nic says.

Nic nods and sets them down. "Good, 'cause I don't wanna be one either."

Nic jumps back over with two straws, holding them up. "Who wants to be a walrus?"

Nic gets an idea and jumps over the bar, searching for straws.

Jace sighs, smiling. Nic downs two more shots before speaking. "Let's talk about walruses or something completely unrelated to what we were previously on the subject of."

Jace smiles. "I-I'm not cluless...I'm under the influence. There's a difference...I think."

"What were we talking about before anyway?" Jace asks.

"Anyway," Nic attempts to turn the conversation, "let's talk about something else."
