Jace He nods subconsciously and looks up. "Just thinking."

Jace He glances up at the phone and then back down, imagining it all in his head again.

Jace He looks down at his own hands and remembers what his brother had done that one time, swallowing.

Jace The flame disappears and he loses grip on her wrist, sitting back. "S-sorry."

Jace He watches the flame, the sight reflected in his eyes.

Jace He leans forward and catches her wrist, watching it. "But how?"

Jace He watches the flame, fascinated. "H-how are you doing that?"

Jace He chuckles and looks away. "So this is detention, then?"

Jace He smiles, shrugging. "Fun?"

Jace He chuckles, sitting back, and then studies her. "You're a riot."

Jace Her smile's contagious, and soon spreads to him. He shrugs. "I do it a lot. You shouldn't think much of it."

Jace "Nothing." He glances up. "Just sighing."

Jace Nodding, he looks down and sighs.
