He flashes a smile. "Don't worry about it, Rayah."

He looks down and lies, "I spaced out, s'all."

He snaps out of it and shakes his head, swallowing. "Nothing."

He watches her, his eyes locked on her fingers.

He smiles and shakes his head again. "No, you're not."

Flashing a smile, he nods. "Just making sure. People assume things."

He nods and looks down awkwardly. "Listen, don't take me not telling you much of anything as me not liking you at all. I just have a trust issue."

He looks up at her. "Something I have to do when I get home."

He smiles, slipping his phone away. "Nothing. My brother just had to remind me something."

He watches before slipping his phone out and checking it for messages, finding one from his brother.

He flashes a smile too and glances up at her. "Yeah. Definitely."

He nods, looking down again. "No one thinks they are."

He shrugs. "How should I know? I was just saying that you don't come off as someone who's not smart."

He studies her. "Don't say that. You look like you are."

"Seriously? You don't know?" He asks.
