Jace I shake my head and keep my mouth shut, facing forward with a smirk.

Nic Jace hesitates before following her, going to comfort her. I glance at Jackie, "So... he'll be older than me from now on?"

Jace I look at her, flashing a smile, "I'm a guy... You don't want to know."

Nic My heart sinks. No more Jacey? But he was so much easier to handle...

Jace I think, "Not anything generally appropriate..."

Nic Wait... I glance at Jace before shaking my head and looking at Jackie, "What happens after this is over? Do they go back to their old selves?"

Jace I shrug, "We can play a game, talk... I don't really know."

Nic I glance at Jackie, "If it helps... I don't understand a d*mn thing going on here either."

Jace I flash a smile and look at her, "Okay. Whucha wanna do?"

Nic I shake my head at myself and sigh.

Jace I nod and sigh, resting my forehead on my arms.

Nic "Jace can be your teddy bear," I mumble, then look up and realize I said that out loud. D*mmit.

Jace I look at her, "If they try... they obviously don't care about that. And I'm pretty sure this conversation is dead..."

Nic Jace comes and sits at my side, sighing.

Jace I sigh and shrug, "I've been to some pretty messed up schools. It's possible."
