Ryder Once done shacking up the horse and its stuff, I walk to the door of the stables and wait for Val.

Ryder I take my horse to the side and remove its saddle, lost in thought.

Ryder I hesitate before nodding, looking up at the roof.

Ryder When I finally touch ground, I start speedwalking to wherever we left the horses, half wanting to just run.

Ryder I don't answer and just start climbing down the tree, not caring about stupid wings right now.

Ryder I try to focus, get mine back, but can't, swallowing.

Ryder I blink out of it a few times and hesitate before making to stand, forgetting we're in a tree, "I-I need to go back."

Ryder I take a deep breath and am left with just the headache.

Ryder I look at her, the images slowly dying down.

Ryder I try to, but the images keep coming.

Ryder The images thing from the stables happens again and I hold onto the tree, closing my eyes.

Ryder I nod, "Okay then."

Ryder I shrug, "Yeah. M-Maybe I could go with you when you find the document then. After then, I mean."

Ryder I nod, "Just 'cause I turn eighteen. They aren't legally bound to keep me here anymore."

Ryder I glance at her again, "I leave next summer though."
