Elijah I smile back before reaching the backyard and blanking my expression as I look over my family.

Elijah I study her for a moment before focusing on where we're walking, making sure we're in the right direction.

Elijah I match her smile and squeeze her hand, hesitating before wrapping an arm around her waist.

Elijah I lightly smile back at her and keep her hand in mine.

Elijah I look at her and follow her gaze to our hands, releasing them in the case they made her uncomfortable.
