Elijah I open my eyes and find Dad standing there awkwardly. "Uh... seriously?" he asks.

Elijah My arm moves lower before I hear someone clear their throat behind us.

Elijah I tighten my grip around her and tangle my hand in her hair, a flame seemingly starting in my chest.

Elijah I pull her closer and move a hand to the side of her face.

Elijah I match her smile and pull her closer.

Elijah I smile back and wrap my other arm around her.

Joseph I smile wider and kiss her stomach, resting my ear against it and closing my eyes.

Joseph I smile and kiss her wrist, "Morning."

Joseph The next morning, I wake to Melissa rubbing my back. Smiling, I open my eyes and yawn.

Joseph I drift off to sleep soon after, keeping her in my arms.

Joseph I close my eyes again and kiss her cheek.

Chance I nod in agreement, something not adding up about it.

Joseph I smile and kiss her back, nodding.

Elijah I close my eyes as well and lean the rest of the way in, kissing her.

Elijah I look back into her eyes when she gazes into mine, smiling lightly still.
