Jag I hesitate before doing the same, keeping her close, "So... should we talk about futures? When people do this crap in movies, they talk about futures, don't they? Or ...

Jag I lead her down the beach and squeeze her hand.

Jag I stand and take her hand, smiling lightly as I lead her out.

Jag I wrap an arm around her and think. Still wanna go easy on her... "Walk down the beach? We haven't done anything really romantic in this relationship yet."

Jag I match my smile and allow myself to relax, "What do you wanna do then?"

Jag I smile back and twine her hand with mine, still in the mindset that she's fragile, "You're feeling okay, right?"

Jag I watch her, noticing the bite marks gone and the spring in her step, but can't help worry still. Sighing, I finish unpacking and sit on the bed.

Jag I smile back at her and nod, opening the suitcase to unpack, "Very."

Chance I sigh when I hear Zane wake, reminded of everything, and bury my face in Katie's neck, closing my eyes and losing my smile.

Sure Jag I follow close beside Emma, still worried, into one of the beach houses and find myself shocked at the beauty of it inside.
