Jag I flash a smile, "I thought you already knew I loved you."

Jag I curse myself and prop myself up on my elbows, "What was I supposed to say?"

Joseph I tighten my grip around her and kiss the top of her head, closing my eyes.

Jag I chuckle, "You're old."

Jag I smile, "I won't. You're my mate, sexy and all."

Jag I study her, "Like you did?"

Jag I nod and roll on my back, "We do. I acted like an a*s before. I should have realized that."

Joseph I hug her back, "What's the hardest?"

Jag I study her before kissing her forehead, "Thank you."

Jag I smile and move closer, wrapping an arm around her, "Is that what this was all about?"

Joseph I hesitate before nodding only to shake my head soon after, "I just killed someone."

Jag I look at her before getting changed into a pair of shorts and nothing else, lying beside her but keeping my distance, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have acted that ...

Joseph I nod and close the blinds for her.

Jag I plop down on the sand and look out at the horizon for a little before standing and walking back to the beach house.

Joseph I kiss her back and smile as well.
