Jace nods, swallowing to ease his now-sore throat. "Yeah, it just took me by surprise." He smiles.

Jace falls into the water and has to surface right away, coughing up the water he'd accidentally swallowed.

Upz: "No problem." I stand and help her up, her bad foot hovering over the ground.

Lol. Nice.

Jace shakes his head as she dunks underwater again. He just waits for her to come back up, smiling.

Upz: "I'm Upz." I reply. "I haven't seen any kids yet, but we'll find her."

Lol. I went to homecoming last year... You know how that went, P-Dixie.

Jace kisses her back, smiling.
