River I flash a polite smile back before taking a deep breath, "So... how long were you dating him?"

Joseph I shake my head and drain the second bag, "Like I said, i definitely don't mind."

River I hesitate before hovering before the door again, staying silent.

Joseph I sigh and take another bag, "You realize you're still wearing the bare minimum, right? Not that I mind... I'm just saying."

Joseph I smile and stroke her hair back as she drinks, "Morning."

River "Whatever. Be that way," Elijah grumbles again before storming out of his room and sneaking outside again.

Joseph I smile when I see Melissa, my head no longer pounding, and hand her a bloodbag while patting the spot next to me on the counter.

River "Don't be that way," he orders. "I'm not embarrassed. I don't want my family in my f**king business. You broke it off with me, don't you remember?"

River "You could have called first, you know," he grumbles. "My family doesn't know about you. Now one of my idiot siblings does."

River I move a bit down the hall to avoid being seen with his ex-girlfriend and watch him walk into his room, hearing muffled talk. "What are you doing here?" ...

Joseph I wake the next morning with a blistering headache. Remembering what Melissa told me about drinking blood, I get up and head to the kitchen to drain a bag.

River I watch her and shrug, "We kind of don't."

River Ex-girlfriend? I study her, "Oh... well, I guess you could come in."
