Kivvien nodded and circled around to the side. He tried the door.

Kivvien looked the cottage over critically. This would hardly do as a lab. He pulled the cart around the back and hopped out, approaching the cottage cautiously.

He followed the directions silently, until they finally approached the edge of town, and the cabin that sat there.

(sounds great!) Kivvien steered the cart through the streets of the town. Finally, this leg of the journey was nearly over.

(Yup! Where to?)

Kivvien focused once more on the road.

Kivvien shook his head. This was devolving past anything logical.

Kivvien joined him in silence.

"Do you believe you would have been allowed to leave would you have decided against assisting him?"

"At what point did you choose to serve your master then?"

"For someone who thirsts for knowledge, you sure are resistant to this piece of information."

"Why are you so resistant to it?"

"It is what you are."

"Your happiness doesn't change the fact that you're a slave."

"You just told me that you are not compensated for your work, and you have no choice in the matter."
