Alexandrite is a book I'm working on at the moment. I came up with the idea after I found out what alexandrite is. It's a beautiful gen stone that changes color depending on where you are (sunlight or dark). It can either be green or red and sometimes a shade of purple (though that's very rare). What really caught my interest is how it does change color and the fact there's so little of it that you mainly only find lab made copies in stores. It's expensive, not the less.
The story's in first person, in the view of 16-year-olf Garnet Song. this is the third story I've written besides little short stories or fanfictions. After a few of my friends read the prologue and fist chapter I decided I had to keep working on it. If I finish this, this will be the second story I've finished, the first being co written.
