My first and rubbish attempt hope to write better soon Hehe! A question: what did you intend to get across as your message with this poem? :)

I like the first version better. It is more repetitive, yes, but at least it's a purposeful repetition. it's not trying to be non-repetitive, which is what your second poem ...

Meh. Sometimes writers block does exist though. Like, if you're so stressed out you can barely move, or maybe you're very ill. *feels argumentive* :P

They may feel good about being the oldest one, but that's sure to fade soon enough. If you're the oldest one in the older grades, you're seen as someone too ...
