I've literally no bloody idea if anyone is actually reading this, or if this is a technical description for my eyes only.
but just in case:
Many claim a disease disseminates through the dying husk that is the former industrial town of Kalsten. A cancer of concrete, plastic, bone and flesh fills its rundown buildings, slithers across the city's misused roads, tunnels and pipes, with nightmarish architecture breaking through the asphalt, obliterating roads and encroaching on apartment complexes. It is their semi-organic, distorted innards that serve as birth canals for an entire cybernetic ecosystem of abominations.
For some its a techno-organic hell scape, for few others a wonderland of alien technology ripe for the taking, for all it is known as - The Metastasis. Those very few who survive in this ever-growing new world disseminate a myriad of fantastical rumors. Hushed whispers speak machinery that is human yet simultaneously completely alien, creatures of metal and bone that stalk the shadows, eyes that grow from the walls, of the dead treading the soil once more, birthed by the mythical "Fleshfull Machine," the entry point, the first foci of infection, the first cancerous cell that materialized in the world they lived in. Nobody can speak of its form, size or exact location.
Gregory Jolpin - a broken nobody eternally submerged in a boundless ocean of ethanol. The roaming drunk from the neighboring city of Okad has long given up on his life, yet a chance encounter acquaints him with the myth of The Metastasis and later - The Fleshfull machine. Understanding that his days are numbered nonetheless, Gregory decides to venture on a crusade of longing, in hopes of tearing the one he most cherishes from the cold tendrils of death itself.
The Machine demands much - too much for some. For one to even have a chance to be granted an honor of its audience, they must brave the unrelenting echo system that blossoms within The Metastasis. And should they, by some miracle survive, will they be able to pay the steep price it demands?
The story is WIP, split into 5 episodes (4 upcoming/including the epilogue).

The Fleshfull Machine (WIP Novel)
A disease of flesh and plastic grows through the city of Kalsten akin to cancerous metastases in a body. Some say its heart offers invaluable gifts.
