Halee He sneezes and I kiss his cheek, "Bless you."

Rayah I shake my head, "Not today, though, please. You've gone through enough."

Halee I smile at him and rest my head on his shoulder.

Rayah I keep a hand on the side of his face and brush my thumb against his cheek, "'Cause it's your birthday and I don't want you to be worried."

Halee I study him before sitting foward.

Rayah I swallow, "I-I don't want you to think about them."

Halee I nod, "Yeah."

Rayah I pull back again and rest my forehead against his, taking a breath for a moment before leaning back in.

Halee I sigh, "A really good one."

Rayah I kiss him more passionately and sit him up a little.

Halee I shrug, "How he's gonna grow up. What kind of lifestyle he'll have."

Rayah I study him and sigh when I see him look over my marks, kissing him to try to get him to forget about them.

Halee I hesitate, "Our baby's future."

Rayah I smile and shrug, running a hand through my hair, "You know I'm just messing around."

Halee I nod, "Just thinking."
