Val I shivver again, my head feeling like its about to explode.

Riley She makes a cry face, "Since when does me age matter?" She crosses her arms, "Me a person."

Val I open my eyes and glance around, fog surrounding us and my clothes wet. I bury my face in Ryder's neck, sighing.

Riley She frowns, "Why...Why can't me do what you do?" She gives us her eyes and I bite my lip, trying to think of an exuse that won't make her ...

Val I cough again, my lips going pale. And now I'm sick...

Riley She smiles but crawls on the pillows on the floor, "Me wanna play what you did," She giggles, her white- blonde hair covering one of her eyes.

Val I start shivvering in the middle of the night, cold, and realize its raining. Coughing, I cuddle deeper into him and sniffle.

Riley She claps, "Me wanna have fun!" I cover my mouth with my hand and try not to laugh.

Val I nod, slowly falling asleep.

Riley "Why messy?" She giggles, repeating.

Val I look at him, "You feeling alright?"

Riley I smile, and watch, Ella flashing out.

Val I smile wider, tightening my grip.

Riley I sit on the side of the bed and let him resume time.
