Okay.

Val I feel something in my arms and sigh, a little more secure.

Not today though. Tomorrow.

Riley I roll on my back, Mariah laying across my stomach.

After school at 7:30 there's a color guard meeting so I'll be gone for an hour after that.

Val I go deeper into sleep, swallowing.

Riley I wake the next morning, everyone still asleep, and sigh.

Riley Mari cuddles into my stomach, burying her face in it, and I tighten my grip.

Val I stir, shivvering again.

Ok.

Riley I smile at Gray and close my eyes.

Val I hear everyone leave but keep asleep, lips still purple.

Riley I scoop her up and set her on our bed, allowing her to sleep as I crawl in beside her and wrap my arms around her.

Val I fall asleep, face pale, and allow them to do whatever.

Riley I watch her and she closes her eyes, at peace.
