Riley I sigh and keep on the bed, Mariah cuddling into my stomach as mom flashes out.

Val I plop down by a tree when we get there and yawn.

Okay. Heading off though.

Riley My mom hesitates, "I'm heading home."

Val I nod and sigh.

Okay. I'm back.

Riley I sit on the bed, Mariah playing with my hair.

Val I glance at him, "You can get something though."

Riley My mom hesitates, "Two children is a big rush." I nod, "I know." She sighs, not saying anything more.

Val I shake my head, "Not hungry."

Riley I shake my head and take Mariah back, "Fine. Don't tell me."

Val I nod hesitantly, "Yeah."

Riley I study him, "But your thinking something."

Val I take a deep breath, "Le-Lets go back."

Riley "What?" I ask, arms crossed.
