Jackie I sit up and sigh again, walking to the door and opening it.

Jackie I look up at the ceiling and sigh, sensing his brother near, able to read his mind because he's so close, "And there's a knock at the door..."

Jackie I shake my head, studying him, "Nah. I'm not the type of girl who does that. Don't have to worry about that with me."

Jackie I bite my lip, "Reading minds has its advantages."

Jackie I smile, "Can you listen to him one time? I think they'd make a great couple."

Jackie "What does he say about her?" I ask, "Rayah wants to know because she's feeling kind of creeped out.."

Jackie "Your brother...he keeps staring at her," I tell him.

Jackie I hesitate, "You know Rayah? Head cheerleader?"

Jackie I smile, sighing.

Jackie "When the time comes," I smile, laying down and setting my head in his lap as I look up at him.

Jackie I study him, "I have my reasons."

Jackie I nod, "I know. I'm not that stupid, Nic."

Jackie I shrug, walking to sit beside him, "I just need someone," I tell him, "And you stayed by my side when I needed you most."

Jackie I glance back, shrugging, "We'll deal with that when the time comes."
