Sam I nod and make sure I have money before walking to Starbucks.

Back. Well, just for now. Stopped at a hardware store for no apparent reason. I'll be back at 9:00 or so.

Sam Confused, I slide off his lap and stand, "I'mma go and get us some coffee. Need to get out. See ya later," I sigh.

I've gtg to pick up my bro. I'll be back in thirty minutes, or an hour at the most.

Sam I study him, "Yeah, what?"

Sam I shake my head and look away, flashing a small smile, "Nothin'."

Yeah.

Sam I study him for a moment before pulling back and running a hand though my hair, watching him.

Not really, but I'll get over it. I'm not the type to hold a grudge.

Sam "Why did you ask what I want?" I ask in a whisper, eyes still closed.

And I'll be gone for a little in a minute. Gotta pick up my brother from my cousin's house and my gramma doesn't trust me here alone. -_-
