I was born in Vietnam and came to America in 2002. I had troubles learning English and I felt it was because nobody properly teached me. Most of the classes taught literature for the most part.
I got into writing fanfics back in elementary school. I prefer not to write fanfics or read them nowadays, but I appreciate them as a starting point. This leads me on a bumpy road to (the word that haunts me so very early on) grammar.
I joined YWS some years ago, but have returned for fun. Now here I am, my writing slightly improved and I cry in the corner of how horrid my time management skill is.
