  • Novel / Chapter » General, General Re: Turquoise Chapter Three

This was very realistic, honest and funny. The ending leaves on a bit of a cliffhanger, but not too much so as to leave the reader disappointed. It makes me ...

  • Novel / Chapter » General, General Re: All Babies Are Blessings (2.5)

Wow, that was intense. I'm actually relieved it was just a dream (or was it?...). The beginning had me thinking it was going to be a relaxing, nice dream, then ...

  • Novel / Chapter » General, General Re: Once upon a Time- Chapter Two

The dialogue here is great, and I love the gory description of Henry's body. It seems almost comical how the body fell through the ceiling and landed on his desk, ...

  • Short Story » General, General Re: A Thesis

I'm pretty confused with this. Are the seperate "parts" a series of letters or diary entries the protagonist is writing? I really enjoyed the first part, but from there it ...

  • Novel / Chapter » Science Fiction, General Re: The City that Forever Sleeps(Part III)

The title is intriguing, and this is a solid, entertaining chapter. The mood is kept fast and light, with little hints of suspense. I'm not usually a fan of apocalyptic-type ...

  • Short Story » Science Fiction, General Re: Mutts - Taste

This was an eerily moving piece for its length. I haven't read any of your other Mutts stories, so I'm just seeing this a vacuum, shall we say. It's a ...

  • Short Story » Science Fiction, General Re: Oor Wey o Spikin'

This is such a creative and original idea! The only issue I have with it is that in the beginning, there's a brief introduction to Mattae, then it goes straight ...

  • Short Story » Fantasy, General Re: Top Secret Cobra: Half-human (Extract 2)

I loved this-it was an action-filled, funny and entertaining beginning. When it says: "purred the Sinefesh which called itself Jonathan Kraw", it should be "who called himself Jonathan Kraw" 'The ...

  • Novel / Chapter » Fantasy, General Re: The Dark Goddess [2]

“What are the damages to the ship?” She asked, should say "What are the damages to the ship?" she asked. A solid and promising start. I'm starting to like Jo's ...

This was so lovely and heartwarming. Most of the writing here is very angsty and dramatic, so this was a refreshing change of pace. The use of imagery is great ...

  • Short Story » Fantasy, General Re: Delihla- a girl who lives in Hell

Use "sarcastic" instead of "sarcasting", and make sure I as a proper noun is always capitalized. Say "everyone" instead of "every one". "Firey" should be "fiery" And say "weak hearts" ...

This is a really entertaining and heartfelt introduction, as well as being refreshingly realistic. Although it's fantasy there's a central theme that a teenager can relate to-that of failing to ...

I liked this-firstly because of the style. Your style is distinctive from everyone else here, and this passage is written with a unique voice. Will this be continuing? If so, ...

  • Short Story » Fantasy, General Re: i sent my first post to myself. :)

It's certainly a good passage, but I need more information to be sure (I tentatively voted 7-9). Is this the beginning? It's a very gripping excerpt and I want to ...
