Ignorance

Virgil quickly looked into Janus’s eyes. He growled, realizing Jealousy’s control over the other, and grabbed the half-snake’s wrist, sinking down with him.

“ Yes. ” Despite everything, Virgil was still a dark side, and he cared about Remus dearly. (Unrelated, but a while back, I updated my phone and lost my playlist. ...

“Urgh-“ It was only then that Janus noticed the flickering colors in Virgil’s eyes. “ :!: you J-“

Virgil’s eyes flickered from orange to his regular brown. Back and forth. He was fighting the control. “D- Don’t-“

Sleep sighed and walked over to Emile. “Relax, Em, I’ve got him.”

Virgil seemed to keep a stern look on his face. However, he was currently under Jealousy’s control, in order for the leader to stay in, well, control. But nobody noticed.

“...” Virgil sighed. “...Don’t listen to them. The light sides lie about this stuff a bunch. It doesn’t matter. You’re thinking about this too much.”

“...Deal.” He summoned a new blanket and handed it to Janus.

Virgil started to get anxious. “Y-Yeah..?”

Sleep got pretty startled when he noticed Janus. He grumbled. "...Don't you dare tell anyone about this, okay?"

"What? No, he's not boring! He just doesn't like intrusive thoughts is all."

Sleep smiled fondly. "Get some rest, kid... you need it," he whispered softly as he got up. (Okay but like I love the idea of Sleep being a secret softie-)

(you'll see👀) Sleep gulped. "Okay, um-" He took a deep breath and, hoping no one was watching, began to sing a calming tune, in hopes of lulling Thomas to sleep.
