Recently, a lot has happened in my life. I have moved away from home, written an EP and gone through a very serious break up.
I feel as though my life has become hectic and muddled and that this space online is no longer the place I fell in love with over a year ago. Recently, I have found myself searching for some form of validation or just a general escape from my reality. Social media has provided that for me but it has also proven that I have no self control. I won’t pretend to have good mental health or to be perfectly happy with how I am often seen as so the online world has really been a place for the younger me to just be myself but I feel as though that guy has moved out now.
Perhaps, what I am trying to say is that it is time that I did the mature thing and logged myself off of this website and attempted to move on with reality.
I am currently working with a musical theatre troop as a junior director (a dream of mine) so I do not want you thinking that I am quitting because of poor mental health.
The truth is, I don’t have time to write, create reviews or participate in fandom activities and the more that I jump on the bandwagon without being able to fully commit, the worse I feel.
I am a creative guy. I have a job and a life and while I would love to say that I have made friends on here I am not sure that I truly have.
