What are your guys' thoughts on doing some sort of palooza each month? Doing some for reviewing like we're doing now, then say next month do more specific ones- like how to review works you're not familiar with (reviewing a poetry person if you're a prose person, so to speak) and just run with the general knowledge? I mean of course it's going to be on the back burner for #SBMo @Kirklin, but I think we can manage?
And again, what are some of y'alls idea for future workshops and competitions?
@ShadowVyper , @Tuckster , @Mea (I can drop your name off whenever, or they can stay on as leading principles too!)
What things interest all of you in the thought of a "classroom'
Imagine a workshop as a classroom. You have usually one or two people there being the leader, and then the rest are there to learn. If you're wanting to learn something or need help in an area-- What would that area be and would you like to see multiple people learn the same thing you're learning in.
And it doesn't have to be just review related, it could be about anything!
What I mean is we can do grammar workshops, we could do writing workshops, we could do a reviewing work shop where we review other things. Your imaginations the limit! Please, if you have any ideas for a fun , interesting, and informative workshop, i'll be glad to include these coming up. And I'm calling on all @mods here, that way we can get a biiiig thing out of this, that's not just hosted by a couple of nameless people (I mean myself here)
Today's success showed me so much. People who don't get along, people who don't know each other, people who ecen resent one another can come together and be pleasant and work together when they are all their to learn the same things. Thanks to @Mea for helping keep it together, @Tuckster our resident rule stickler , and @ShadowVyper for being the back bone behind this entire operation, and my biggest thanks goes out to @kirkiln, who has expressed his opinion, and help time and time again, but doesn't want to take attention away from the workshop. I say a round of applause for Omni, Shads, and Tuck, considering without them, this would have NEVER have happened. HIP HIP- HOORAY
